The 57th Weston Citizens Award will be hosted by the Weston Area Development Association (WADA), marking a new chapter for this annual community event.
Citizen of the Year nomination forms can be picked up at the Weston Public Library, City Hall, Stagecoach, and the Long Branch Café & Saloon as well as on Facebook at

The guest speaker, Judy Fortney, will share insights into her ancestor Suzanne Cayuse. Musical entertainment will be provided by a small ensemble from the Weston-McEwen High School Bagpipe Band including dancers, under the direction of Jacob Gau.
WADA will utilize the annual dinner as an opportunity to support the band in raising funds to purchase bagpipes and other necessary equipment. Band members will assist with event setup and meal service, and donations for the band will be collected during dinner.
The deadline for Citizen of the Year nominations to be returned to WADA is February 10, 2026. Please allow for getting those forms returned via mail. If mailing from Weston, be sure to drop the form inside the post office. If mailing outside of Weston, please mail as soon as possible to make sure the form arrives by February 10th. Forms can be emailed to WADA or dropped off at Stagecoach.
The dinner will be held at the historic Memorial Hall, and catered by Four Flames of Helix. The dinner features a prime rib dinner with all the fixings and dessert. Tickets are available at the Stagecoach located at 106 E Main Street in Weston. Hours are Wed. thru Saturday 11am to 6pm.
